The Latest Craze, to be or not to be against Bush
by: Young Diplomats
President George W. Bush; president of United States of America. The land of the free. The land where you can speak your mind and not be punished for. The land where you can have religious freedom and not be prosecuted for. Most of all, a land where there is no king; an elected president. What is wrong with this picture? Well, that was the dream for the pioneers who came to America because they were probably going to be prosecuted in their own country. But that was the vision of the past for the future. This the present time. When I think about America. I think about chaos. Well, that present time that is. We started pointless war. The American troops killed a bunch of journalists. We want to kill an 'evildoer' dictator [which people forget we put into power]. Protesting is not going to do anything as Bush made it clear before the war started "I know you are protesting. I know you do not want war but we are going to have war." War? I will always remember my teacher who was a former Ambassador who told the class "there has not been a justified war since World War II." I agree with him. So, what was this? Another Vietnam? Or is it Wag the Dog? Then Bush's words are being 'fought about' in the news, magazines, papers, internet. There is even an investigation going on in the White House. America is divided on the issues of Bush [well the world for that matter]. Bush travels around the world, like in Australia when some diplomats spoke out and then were suspended for the rest of the day. But what makes me laugh and cry at the same time is the fact Bush is telling America to vote for him because he 'declared World Peace'. Oh, give me a break. If anything, he caused war and starvation. He even said that Iraq is doing a lot better now since America declared war. Umm.. Hello! Did Bush forget to say that during Saddam's regime, Iraq was one of the most educated Middle East country? Oh when an American plane is shot down. I do feel sorry about all of that. It is sad to loose lives but then again, when I read in the press that Iraqi people are 'overjoyed' that Americans died, well, that is a bunch of shit! I love how the press takes some random picture [that is called propaganda, folks] to make the rest of the world angry at the Iraqi people for having joy that some troops died. That is sad and awful way to use propaganda. What ever happened to peace and truth? I want to know one thing. I know Bush is coming to England [19-21st of November], how big will this protest be? Will MPs be protesting?? stay-tuned for the follow-up story of this. |
